New House - Part 3 "Closing Day"

Okay, so we made our February 10th deadline to close on the house. We closed on February 10th at 10:00 am! The first thing we did when we got back was take the sign down!

The next thing we did is start changing door knobs and ripping out carpet. The carpet smelled like wet dog. It was very gross! Luckily, I had made my Wal-Mart run at that time and wasn't there for the pulling up of the nasty carpet. We spackled some holes in the walls. We also met a couple of the neighbors. They seem really nice. Jay was impressed by the back yard and can't wait to move into the house! Here are a few "before" pictures. Don't judge...it'll be really nice when we're all done! Come by!
